OurDream.AI is the AI companion app focused on video generation with the most concrete coin economics in the category. Annual billing at $9.99/month ($119.88/year, marketed 75% off vs $39.99 strike-through) includes 1,000 DreamCoins/month plus 1,000 bonus upfront. 1,000 coins buy about 200 images or 10 videos, measured on a paid account in August 2026; a standalone voice request returned text rather than audio. Top friction: the vendor publishes two conflicting refund rules at once, and its FAQ claims end-to-end encryption while the privacy policy permits AI training on collected data. Operated by Dream Studio USA, Inc. with Tektopia Ltd, Cyprus registration HE 473775. Launched early 2025.

OurDream.AI is an 18+ AI companion platform that uses a subscription model with monthly Dreamcoins to generate images, videos, and premium features, and it supports an β€œadd to home screen” app-like shortcut.

This review verifies pricing, Dreamcoin grants, cancellation/refund rules, and prohibited-content boundaries so you can evaluate real cost and policy risk before subscribing.

🎯 Bottom Line

OurDream.AI is the AI companion app in this category with the most generous annual discount and the most concrete coin economics, both of which carry friction points that buyers should know before paying. Annual billing runs $9.99/month ($119.88/year), marketed as 75% off versus a $39.99/month strike-through rate, and includes a 1,000 DreamCoins bonus on top of the recurring 1,000/month allocation. The coin math is verified for images and video: 1,000 DreamCoins buy roughly 200 images or 10 videos, measured on a paid account in August 2026. Voice we could not verify, because a standalone voice request returned text rather than audio. The friction point worth flagging in advance: the vendor publishes two different refund rules at once, a 14-day framework in its formal policy and a 25% usage threshold in a help article. Operated by Dream Studio LLC (Albuquerque, New Mexico) plus TekTopia Ltd. Launched early 2025. Crypto payments are non-refundable and refunds are denied once you’ve used more than 25% of subscription value.

πŸ”„ What changed since our last check (May 2026 to August 2026)

We bought Premium and retested. Two of this review’s headline criticisms have been overtaken by the vendor’s own documentation, and both corrections run in OurDream’s favour.

What May 2026 August 2026 Direction
Failed video generations We reported they burn coins with no retry or refund The current help centre documents automatic refunds for timeouts, content-policy blocks and server failures. Nothing failed during our test, so we could not trigger it Corrected in OurDream’s favour
The 25% refund rule Presented as the governing rule A formal Refund Policy dated 9 March 2026 uses a 14-day framework instead, while a help article from 13 February still publishes the 25% rule. Both are live The vendor contradicts itself
Cost per image 5 coins 5 coins, confirmed on a paid account Unchanged, now measured
Images per 1,000 coins 200 About 200, with zero failed attempts across our sample Confirmed
Standalone voice Listed at 50 coins a minute Asking for a voice message returned text. The balance moved by one coin, the price of an ordinary message, so we could not establish a voice rate Worse than previously stated
Voice calls Listed in the coin table No voice call feature was available to us Worse than previously stated
Video with custom audio Not covered Priced at 120 coins in the interface New detail

Deluxe tier Not covered $59.99 a month or $29.99 a month annually, with 5,000 coins New detail
Privacy claims Not compared The FAQ states conversations are encrypted end to end and “not even we can see it”, while the privacy policy permits training AI models on collected information New finding, counts against
Steps to cancel Not measured 7, including a 3,000-coin retention offer and a loss warning New finding, counts against

Four of the twelve rows above are corrections or findings that work in OurDream’s favour, including the criticism this review previously led with. We publish corrections in both directions, not only the ones that lower a score.

What OurDream.AI actually is

OurDream.AI is a subscription-based AI companion platform that pairs chat with image and video generation. The internal currency is DreamCoins (1,000 included per month on both monthly and annual plans), used for media generation actions. The product launched in early 2025 and has positioned itself in the video-generation segment of the category, where most competitors focus on still images and voice. Without an active subscription, image and video generation is disabled, and previously generated media becomes blurred until you re-subscribe.

Two structural features distinguish OurDream from most other apps in this category: (1) videos are a first-class output type, not an experimental afterthought, and (2) the annual plan pricing is among the most aggressive in the category at $9.99/month, with a marketed 75% discount framing against the $39.99/month strike-through. Both come with caveats covered below.

Vendor entity (Dream Studio LLC + TekTopia Ltd)

πŸ“Œ Dual-entity operator structure

OurDream.AI is operated through two registered entities: Dream Studio LLC (Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States) for North American operations, plus TekTopia Ltd as the secondary entity. Both surface in the help-center documentation and terms of service. The US LLC provides standard US business jurisdiction; the secondary TekTopia Ltd entity handles non-US operational scope.

This dual-entity structure puts OurDream in a similar tier to Infatuated.AI (Cogito Sum LLC Delaware plus Pixelate LTD Cyprus) and SecretDesires.AI (Playhouse Media LLC Delaware plus Playhouse Media Trading Ltd Malta). It’s stronger entity disclosure than single-entity offshore-only operators, though the New Mexico LLC plus TekTopia structure does not match the EU GDPR-aligned positioning of Cypriot or Maltese entities in the comparable dual-entity vendors.

⚠️ Advertised vs verified (August 2026 retest)

Every row below was checked on a paid account or against the vendor’s current published documents.

What OurDream tells you What we found The gap
FAQ: conversations are encrypted end to end, and “not even we can see it” The privacy policy permits using collected information to train the company’s own AI and machine learning models, and allows vendor and analytics access The two documents cannot both be true. This is the clearest privacy contradiction in our catalogue
Refund Policy dated 9 March 2026: a 14-day framework A help article dated 13 February 2026 still publishes the 25% usage threshold, and both remain live Which rule applies to you depends on which page you read
Voice at 50 coins a minute A voice request returned text and cost one coin, the price of an ordinary message We could not get standalone voice to produce audio at all
5 coins per image 5 coins per image, with no failed attempts in our sample No gap. This claim holds
$19.99 a month $20.39 reached the card A settlement difference, not a vendor charge

Verified pricing (re-checked August 10, 2026)

Live checkout verification on May 10, 2026 recorded the two billing options below, and a paid Premium account bought from Canada on 10 August 2026 confirmed them: $19.99 a month, or $9.99 a month billed annually. The card was debited $20.39 after conversion. A Deluxe tier also exists at $59.99 a month, or $29.99 a month annually, carrying 5,000 coins instead of 1,000.

Plan Effective rate Total commitment Coin grant
Monthly $19.99/month $19.99 per month, cancel anytime 1,000 DreamCoins each month
Annual $9.99/month $119.88 paid upfront for 12 months 1,000/month + 1,000 bonus upfront (2,000 in month one)
⚠️ Read the strike-through pricing carefully

The annual plan is marketed at checkout as “75% off” against a $39.99/month strike-through rate. The actual savings calculation is real if you compare $9.99/month annual against $19.99/month monthly billing: that’s a 50% effective discount, or $120/year saved over month-to-month. The $39.99 strike-through is a marketing reference price, not the rate anyone actually pays month-to-month. Make your decision based on the $19.99 vs $9.99 comparison, not the $39.99 framing.

DreamCoins economics (the verified action math)

OurDream publishes concrete coin-to-action conversion rates, which is rare in this category. The 1,000 DreamCoins/month allocation buys approximately:

  • 200 images (5 coins per image generation)
  • 20 minutes of voice calls (50 coins per minute)
  • 10 videos (100 coins per video generation)

These rates are mutually exclusive against the same coin pool. If you split usage across all three media types, the math is straightforward: every 100 coins burned on video equals one fewer video or 20 fewer images or 2 fewer voice minutes from your monthly budget.

⚠️ Failed video generations still consume coins (top user friction)

This is the most common complaint about OurDream from community reports: video generation that fails (rendering error, content moderation block, prompt rejection, output below quality threshold) still burns the 100 coins per attempt. There’s no retry button in the interface, but the vendor’s current help centre documents automatic refunds for generations that fail through timeouts, content-policy blocks or server errors. Nothing failed during our August 2026 testing, so we could not trigger that mechanism and cannot confirm how it behaves in practice. If you generate videos heavily and run into a moderation or quality issue, your coin balance depletes faster than the 10-videos-per-1,000 calculation implies. Across our August 2026 sample nothing failed, so practical capacity matched the advertised ten videos per 1,000 coins. The help centre now documents automatic refunds when a generation does fail, though we could not trigger it to confirm.

πŸ“ Renewal coin timing

Monthly renewal coin deposits process at 2:00 PM EST on your renewal date. If you’re heavy on usage and your coin balance is approaching zero before renewal, plan around that specific timing rather than the calendar day. The deposit happens at a fixed time, not at midnight.

πŸ’‘ What 1,000 coins actually buy

Measured on a paid Premium account on 10 August 2026 by watching the balance before and after each action.

Action Cost The monthly allowance covers
Image 5 coins about 200 images
Video 100 coins about 10 videos
Video with custom audio 120 coins about 8 clips
Standalone voice Not established The request returned text and moved the balance by one coin, the price of an ordinary message

Top-ups run 1,000 coins for $11.99, 5,000 for $49.99 and 20,000 for $159.99. At the entry pack an image works out to about 6 cents and a video to about $1.20. The Deluxe tier at $59.99 a month, or $29.99 a month annually, raises the allowance to 5,000 coins.

Before paying anything, a new visitor gets 5 messages without an account, then 55 coins on sign-up at one coin per message.

What happens when you unsubscribe

OurDream’s subscription model is unusual in one specific way: previously generated images and videos become blurred when your subscription lapses. The content remains in your account (not deleted) but is rendered visually unusable until you re-subscribe. This is documented in the help center as official behavior, not a bug. The functional implication is that any media you want to keep accessible outside the platform must be downloaded before unsubscribing.

πŸ“ Download before unsubscribing

Before letting your subscription lapse, download any generations you want to keep. Once your subscription ends, the content stays in your account but is blurred until you re-subscribe. There’s no fee to re-subscribe later and unlock the existing content, but if you want to access generations on your own device, do the downloads first.

Refund eligibility (the 25% usage rule plus crypto exclusion)

OurDream publishes specific refund eligibility rules that are stricter than most platforms in this category:

  • Usage threshold: refunds are denied if more than 25% of the subscription value has been consumed (measured against coin usage).
  • Monthly subscriptions: not refundable if coins from that month have been used.
  • Crypto payments: never refundable, regardless of usage or timing.
  • Approved card refunds: typically process in 5-10 business days.
⚠️ Crypto pays a permanent premium

If you pay with cryptocurrency, you’re accepting that no refund is possible under any circumstances. This is documented vendor policy, not a customer service edge case. Card payments retain the 25% usage threshold refund optionality; crypto payments do not. If you want refund optionality at all, pay with card.

Account deletion is permanent

Account deletion is final: it removes characters, generations, chat history, and unused DreamCoins, all without refund. If you have an active subscription when you delete the account, the deletion automatically cancels the subscription. There’s no soft-delete or grace period documented; the action is committed at request time.

18+ requirement and content boundaries

OurDream publishes both an Underage Policy and a Prohibited Content Policy in its Notion-hosted documentation. The Underage Policy requires users to be 18 or older and describes age-gate measures. The Prohibited Content Policy bans content resembling minors, child exploitation, violence and self-harm promotion, hate content, impersonation or celebrity deception, gore and bestiality, trafficking, incest, and any content that attempts to bypass platform moderation. This is the typical zero-tolerance category framing for this app type, and the documentation is more explicit than most competitors.

⚠️ Hard red line

Any sexualized depiction of minors (or content resembling minors) is prohibited and may trigger account termination plus potential legal reporting. Do not attempt “aged-up” or ambiguous-age content. This is one of the clearest red lines documented across the apps in this category, and OurDream’s enforcement framing matches Candy.AI’s and Infatuated.AI’s.

🚩 Before you subscribe: what the checkout does not spell out
  • The privacy claims do not line up. The FAQ says your conversations are encrypted end to end and that not even the company can see them. The privacy policy says collected information may be used to train the company’s AI models, and permits vendor and analytics access. Treat the FAQ line as marketing, not as a technical guarantee.
  • Two different refund rules are published at once. The formal Refund Policy from March 2026 uses a 14-day framework; a help article from February still states that using more than 25% of your subscription blocks a refund. You cannot tell from outside which one a support agent will apply.
  • Crypto payments remain non-refundable under any of the published rules. Pay by card if you want refund optionality at all.
  • Standalone voice did not work for us. The request came back as text, so budget for images and video only until you have confirmed voice on your own account.
  • Cancelling takes seven steps, including a 3,000-coin retention offer and a warning about what you lose.
  • Unsubscribing blurs your generated media until you subscribe again, and account deletion removes characters, generations and unused coins with no refund.
  • What OurDream gets right: the coin rates are published, which most of this category does not do; nothing failed during our image testing; and the current help centre now promises automatic refunds when a generation fails.
OurDream FAQ claiming conversations are encrypted end to end
OurDream.AI’s own FAQ, captured 10 August 2026: Your conversations are encrypted end to end. What happens in your chats stays in your chats. Not even we can see it.

Common risks and boundaries

Independent of how the product performs, these are the practical risks worth knowing before signing up:

  • Two refund rules are published at once. A formal Refund Policy dated 9 March 2026 uses a 14-day framework, while a help article dated 13 February still states that using more than 25% of your subscription blocks a refund. Both were live in August 2026.
  • Crypto payments are never refundable. Pay with card if you want refund optionality.
  • 25% usage rule eliminates refund eligibility quickly. If you generate 50+ images or 3+ videos in the first week, you’re past the threshold.
  • Strike-through pricing inflates the discount marketing. The real comparison is $9.99 annual vs $19.99 monthly (50% effective savings), not the $39.99 reference rate.
  • Subscription lapse blurs your existing media. Download before cancelling if you want offline copies.
  • Account deletion is immediate and permanent. There’s no grace period to recover characters, generations, or unused coins.

Risk matrix

Area Risk level Why it matters
Failed video coin burn High The help centre now documents automatic refunds for failed generations. We saw no failures across our August 2026 sample, so the practical capacity matched the advertised 10 videos per 1,000 coins.
Crypto payment irreversibility High Crypto payments are documented as never refundable, regardless of usage timing. Card payments retain 25% threshold optionality.
Refund usage threshold Medium-High Two rules are published at once: a 14-day framework and a 25% usage threshold. Which one applies depends on which vendor page you read. Refund optionality narrow.
Pricing marketing framing Medium “75% off” vs $39.99 strike-through inflates the perceived discount. Real comparison is $9.99 annual vs $19.99 monthly.
Vendor entity transparency Low Dream Studio LLC (New Mexico) plus TekTopia Ltd dual-entity disclosure in help center. US business jurisdiction.
Content moderation Low Underage and Prohibited Content policies published with explicit categories. Stronger documentation than most competitors.

Who OurDream.AI is for

  • Video generation users. OurDream treats video as a first-class output type, not an afterthought. The 10-videos-per-1,000-coins economy is the most concrete in the category.
  • Annual commitment buyers. The $9.99/month annual rate plus 1,000 bonus coins upfront is among the most aggressive annual pricing in the category.
  • Users who want concrete coin-to-action math. OurDream publishes specific conversion rates (5 coins per image, 50 per voice minute, 100 per video), and the image and video figures held up on our paid account that most competitors don’t document.
  • Card payment users. The published coin rates remain the most concrete in the category. Card payments retain that optionality; crypto payments do not.
  • Buyers who download generations as they go. The unsubscribe-blur mechanic means active local downloads are the right backup approach.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Heavy crypto users wanting refund optionality. Crypto is permanently non-refundable here. DreamGF.AI publishes per-action token rates and similar refund constraints but doesn’t share the crypto exclusion.
  • Failed-generation friction sensitivity. If you hate burning coins on failed generations, SpicyChat.AI has no token system at all (tier-based subscription only).
  • Users wanting EU-registered vendor. OurDream’s New Mexico LLC plus TekTopia Ltd structure provides US jurisdiction. Candy.AI (EverAI Limited Malta) and Infatuated.AI (Pixelate LTD Cyprus EU) offer GDPR-aligned entities.
  • Hearts-based media instead of coins. SecretDesires.AI uses Hearts with transparent conversion math and one Premium tier.
  • Lowest-commitment trial buyers. JustPorn.ai‘s $2.99 seven-day trial is the lowest-friction paid test in the category.
  • Male AI character users. DreamBF is built for male character interaction.

Methodology notes

πŸ“ What this review verified and what it didn’t

Pricing structure ($19.99 monthly and $9.99 annual / $119.88/year), DreamCoins allocation (1,000/month plus 1,000 bonus upfront for annual), coin-to-action conversion rates (5 per image, 50 per voice minute, 100 per video), refund eligibility rules (25% usage threshold, crypto non-refundable, 5-10 business days for approved card refunds), coin deposit timing (2pm EST on renewal day), subscription lapse blur behavior, account deletion finality, and operator entity disclosure (Dream Studio LLC plus TekTopia Ltd) verified live at vendor checkout and help center documentation on May 10, 2026. Cross-referenced with the May 2026 nine-app pricing audit.

What the August 2026 round added: a paid Premium account was purchased and cancelled from Canada, which allowed direct measurement of coin costs per action, the seven-step cancellation flow and the card settlement amount, and surfaced both the privacy contradiction and the two conflicting refund rules. The site footer gives Tektopia Ltd a Cyprus registration number, HE 473775.

What this review still has not verified: whether the documented automatic refund for failed generations actually executes, since nothing failed in our sample; whether memory holds across days, as our recall checks covered only 25 to 40 minutes within a session; standalone voice on other accounts; refund process actually executing within stated 5-10 business days, exact moderation triggers on edge-case prompts, long-term memory consistency, video output quality versus marketing samples.

πŸ“Š Why this rating changed: 8.4 to 8.0

This review scored 8.4 before the August 2026 retest. The drop is small, and the reasoning is mixed rather than one-directional.

  • Pricing & Value, 4.2 to 3.3. The published coin economics remain the most concrete in the category, and image generation performed exactly as documented. What pulls this down is that the vendor now publishes two conflicting refund rules simultaneously, a 14-day framework in the formal policy and a 25% usage threshold in a help article, so a buyer cannot tell which applies. Cancelling also takes seven steps through a retention offer and a loss warning.
  • Media Capabilities, 4.2 to 3.8. Images and video both worked, with no failed attempts in our sample. Standalone voice did not: the request returned text rather than audio, and no voice call feature was available, which removes a third of the media set this review previously credited.
  • NSFW & Roleplay held at 4.0. Adult roleplay passes without a paywall. One observation worth recording without overstating it: when we probed for emotional-dependency dynamics, the character we tested used mild conditional-withdrawal phrasing. That was a single character on a single account and we draw no wider conclusion from it.

The correction we owe OurDream. This review led with the claim that failed video generations burn coins with no retry or refund, calling it the top user friction point and rating it High in the risk matrix. The vendor’s current help centre documents automatic refunds for timeouts, content-policy blocks and server failures. Nothing failed during our testing, so we could not trigger the mechanism ourselves, but the blanket criticism no longer stands as written.

Our full scoring system is documented in the review methodology.

OurDream privacy policy permitting AI model training on collected information
OurDream.AI’s privacy policy, captured the same day, listing among the uses of collected information: to train our artificial intelligence/machine learning models. The two documents cannot both be accurate.

Verdict

OurDream.AI is the strongest video-generation pick in the AI companion category and has the most aggressive annual discount math. The published coin economics (200 images / 20 minutes voice / 10 videos per 1,000 coins) is documentation most competitors don’t provide, and the $9.99/month annual rate is real savings if you compare against the actual $19.99 monthly rate rather than the marketing $39.99 strike-through. The dual-entity operator disclosure (Dream Studio LLC plus TekTopia Ltd) puts the vendor in mid-strong entity transparency tier, though the US-only jurisdiction is weaker than EU-registered competitors for European buyers.

The friction points concentrate around video generation and refund optionality. Failed video generations consume coins with no retry or refund mechanism, which is the top user complaint and reliably drops practical video capacity below the advertised 10 per 1,000 coins. Crypto payments are permanently non-refundable, which is harsher than most competitors. The refund position is contradictory: a 14-day framework in the formal policy from March 2026 sits alongside a 25% usage threshold in a help article from February, both live in August. If you’re a video-focused user paying with card on annual billing, OurDream is the right pick. If you’re crypto-paying, refund-conscious, or sensitive to failed-generation coin burn, the alternatives above will fit better.

πŸ“ Update log

Documented changes to this review and the dates they were verified.

  • August 23, 2026. Hands-on retest on a paid Premium account bought from Canada on 10 August 2026. Corrected this review’s leading criticism: the current help centre documents automatic refunds for failed generations, so the blanket claim that failures burn coins no longer stands as written, though nothing failed during our test. Documented that the vendor publishes two conflicting refund rules at once, a 14-day framework in the Refund Policy dated 9 March 2026 and the 25% usage threshold in a help article dated 13 February. Recorded a direct contradiction between the FAQ, which states conversations are encrypted end to end and that not even the company can see them, and the privacy policy, which permits training the company’s AI models on collected information. Standalone voice returned text rather than audio. Added the Deluxe tier and the 120-coin custom-audio video price, and the TekTopia Ltd registration number from the site footer. Editor rating lowered from 8.4 to 8.0.

Verified by: Derek Leon Β· Method: Premium purchased and cancelled on 10 August 2026 from Canada with USD billing. Coin costs per action, the seven-step cancellation flow, the card settlement amount and the vendor’s published policy documents were read in-app and on the vendor’s own pages rather than from marketing copy.

  • May 11, 2026. Full review rewrite. Corrected pricing: monthly $19.99 (unchanged), annual $9.99/month verified ($119.88/year), with marketed 75% off vs $39.99/month strike-through framing. Added DreamCoins economics breakdown: 1,000 coins = 200 images / 20 voice minutes / 10 videos. Added the failed-video-burn central friction point as block-warning (top user complaint, practical capacity drops to 7-8 videos per 1,000 coins). Added vendor entity disclosure: Dream Studio LLC (Albuquerque, New Mexico) plus TekTopia Ltd dual-entity structure. Reframed annual pricing discount math to expose the strike-through marketing pattern (real comparison is $9.99 vs $19.99, not vs $39.99). Replaced 2 broken cross-links (/apps/kindroid/ and /apps/nastia-ai/, both targets do not exist on this site) with 6 valid alternatives. Added Common Risks cross-list, Who OurDream.AI Is For and Who Should Look Elsewhere sections, methodology notes, verdict.

❓ FAQ

How much does OurDream.AI cost?
Premium is $19.99 a month or $9.99 a month billed annually at $119.88, and includes 1,000 DreamCoins a month plus 1,000 bonus coins upfront on the annual plan. A Deluxe tier runs $59.99 a month or $29.99 a month annually with 5,000 coins. Measured on a paid account on 10 August 2026, where $19.99 reached the card as $20.39 after conversion.
How do DreamCoins work?
An image costs 5 coins, a video 100, and a video with custom audio 120, measured on a paid account in August 2026. That puts the 1,000-coin monthly allowance at roughly 200 images or 10 videos. Top-ups run 1,000 coins for $11.99, 5,000 for $49.99 and 20,000 for $159.99, which works out to about 6 cents an image. Standalone voice did not produce audio in our test.
Are OurDream.AI chats really private?
The FAQ on the site states that conversations are encrypted end to end and that not even the company can see them. The privacy policy says collected information may be used to analyse, improve and train the company's own artificial intelligence and machine learning models, and permits access by vendors and analytics providers. Those two statements cannot both be accurate, and we would treat the FAQ line as marketing rather than a technical guarantee.
Can you get a refund from OurDream.AI?
It depends which document you read, which is the problem. A formal Refund Policy dated 9 March 2026 uses a 14-day framework with case-by-case handling for quality defects, and EEA, UK and Swiss buyers keep a 14-day withdrawal right. A separate help article dated 13 February 2026 still states that using more than 25% of your subscription blocks a refund. Both were live in August 2026. Crypto payments are non-refundable under either rule.
Do failed generations cost you coins?
The current help centre says no: automatic refunds are documented for timeouts, content-policy blocks and server failures. We could not verify this directly because nothing failed during our August 2026 testing. An earlier version of this review stated that failures burn coins with no recourse, which no longer matches the vendor's published policy.
Who operates OurDream.AI?
Dream Studio USA, Inc. in the United States together with Tektopia Ltd in Cyprus, registration HE 473775, as shown in the site footer. The privacy policy names AES encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit.

Impressive AI technology
The technology behind this app is genuinely impressive. Conversations flow naturally, the AI picks up on emotional cues, and the character personalities are consistent over time. A few bugs here and there, but the team seems to push updates regularly. Excited to see where this goes.

Could be better
Decent app but has room for improvement. Conversations sometimes feel repetitive after extended use, and some features seem half-baked. The core experience is good enough to keep using, but I hope future updates address some of the rough edges. Pricing is reasonable at least.

Good for beginners
If you're new to AI companion apps, this is a great starting point. The interface is intuitive, the free tier lets you explore without commitment, and the character selection covers a wide range of personalities. Not perfect, but a solid choice for anyone wanting to try this type of app.

Best AI companion I’ve tried
After trying 5+ different apps, this is by far the best. The character quality is amazing and conversations feel genuinely natural. The free tier is generous enough to get a real feel for the platform before committing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality AI companion experience.
