Plans include 1,000 Neurons a month on monthly billing, 1,200 on quarterly and 1,500 on annual. Top-ups run 500 Neurons for $9.99, 2,000 for $29.99 and 10,000 for $99.99. At the entry pack a photo works out to about $1.20 and a five-minute video call to about $70, which is the most expensive media in our catalogue by a wide margin.
One practical warning: ending a video call early does not reduce the charge. The full session is billed.
The Premium subscription unlocks access to the platform’s full feature set above the Basic tier. Plans are documented in Joi’s policies as monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual, with auto-renewal until cancelled. Payment methods include card, Google Pay or Apple Pay where supported, and cryptocurrency where available. If a payment is not completed within 7 days of the due date, Premium downgrades to Basic.

Joi’s Refund Policy is more permissive than the comparable apps in the May 2026 audit:
For comparison: OurDream.AI denies refunds once you’ve used more than 25% of subscription value plus crypto payments are never refundable. DreamGF.AI generally does not offer refunds. Joi’s 14-day window plus the unspent/partial-spent Neurons logic is the most flexible refund framework documented in the category as of May 2026. Card payments retain this optionality fully; payments via crypto, where supported, may have additional constraints worth confirming at checkout.
Joi’s policy notes that private communications may be disclosed to validate the charge if a chargeback is initiated. Practical implication: dispute through Joi’s refund process within the 14-day window rather than through your card issuer if you have a refundable case.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until then. This is a structural nuance worth understanding before paying for media access. Joi’s Safety Guidelines state that images shared via the bot are not generated on demand from user requests but come from predefined folders (with consent agreements). At the same time, Joi’s product UI promotes “generate images” and “generate videos” features. The exact boundary between predefined-media-delivery and on-demand-generation depends on the specific product area you’re using.
Practical implication: if image and video quality matters to you, the predefined-folder model means you may see the same content across users. The generate-on-demand product areas would create per-user output but operate under different content rules. Read the specific feature you intend to use before committing to a long-term subscription.
Joi’s Terms note that subscription charges may appear on bank statements with a “joi.com” descriptor. This is more transparent than many platforms in the category that use generic merchant codes. Practical use: if you’re sharing a card with family or doing expense tracking, the joi.com descriptor is identifiable.
